This is the mid-week boost! Tonight we will CLIMB HIGER, as we begin a new study titled, “I’ll Give You a Call.” Has anyone ever said to you, “let’s keep in touch? or I’ll give you a call?” More often than not, we never hear from that person. Jesus was serious when He said I’ll give you a call. What have you done with the phone call that Jesus made to you? Have you answered the call?
I have begun to read a book by John MacArthur, “Twelve Ordinary Men” that I received as a gift, and it has inspired me to climb higher into the lives of the twelve men that Jesus called.
We will take the next several weeks and look at the LIFE of the twelve apostles. What does LIFE stand for?, Legacy, Individuality, Family, Education. In addition to that we will look at the contribution of these called men, and how through them, the Lord was able to change world.
We start at 5:45 for dinner and then our prayer and study begins at 6:30. There is great activities for your children and youth under the direction of Pastor John Godby and his team, so bring the family.
